THE 7-OH EXIT PLAN

PLAN

A Step-Down Approach Toward Plain Leaf

For those who are already using concentrated 7-OH products and want to move away from them, the goal is simple:

7-OH → Conventional Extract → Mostly Plain Leaf → Plain Leaf Only → Optional Leaf Reduction

This is not about adding more products to what you’re already taking. It’s about replacing concentrated products step by step while working toward plain leaf.

PHASE 1 - STABILIZE

Conventional Extract: None
Plain Leaf: None added
7-OH: Current established amount — no escalation

Objective: Establish your actual daily baseline.

Before changing anything, determine how much 7-OH you’re actually consuming each day. Don’t increase the amount during this phase.

Know your baseline before you begin reducing it.

PHASE 2 - TRANSITION

Conventional Extract: Introduce gradually
Plain Leaf: Introduce small portions
7-OH: Begin gradually reducing

Objective: Start replacing portions of 7-OH rather than adding products on top of it.

The key word is REPLACE.

Conventional extract and plain leaf should be used as a bridge away from 7-OH—not as additions to an unchanged 7-OH routine.

Replacement. Not supplementation.

PHASE 3 - BRIDGE

Conventional Extract: Moderate and steady
Plain Leaf: Gradually increase
7-OH: Continue reducing toward zero

Objective: Make plain leaf the foundation while conventional extract temporarily serves as the bridge.

As 7-OH continues downward, a greater portion of the routine shifts toward plain leaf.

Less concentrated. More leaf.

PHASE 4 - ELIMINATE 7-OH

Conventional Extract: Small to moderate transitional amount
Plain Leaf: Majority of intake
7-OH: ZERO

Objective: Completely remove concentrated 7-OH.

Once zero is reached, consider holding here long enough to establish stability instead of immediately trying to reduce everything else at once.

FIRST GOAL ACHIEVED: 7-OH = 0

PHASE 5 - REMOVE EXTRACT

Conventional Extract: Gradually reduce toward zero
Plain Leaf: Maintain a stable amount
7-OH: 0

Objective: Remove the conventional extract and transition completely to plain leaf.

Continue replacing portions of extract with plain leaf rather than abruptly increasing or decreasing overall intake.

The destination:

7-OH: 0Extract: 0Plain Leaf: 100%

PHASE 6 - PLAIN LEAF TAPER

Optional:
Conventional Extract:
 0
Plain Leaf: Gradually reduce
7-OH: 0

Objective: Once stable without 7-OH or extracts, those who want to reduce or discontinue plain leaf can begin a separate gradual reduction.

There is no requirement to rush from one phase directly into the next.

THE GOLDEN RULE

REPLACE - DON’T STACK.

The purpose of this approach isn’t to continue your normal 7-OH intake while adding extract and plain leaf.

Each transition should move you away from the more concentrated product and toward the less concentrated one.

GO AT YOUR OWN PACE

This is a framework - not a race.

There is no universal conversion between 7-OH, conventional kratom extracts and plain leaf. Product concentrations and individual responses can vary substantially.

If a reduction becomes difficult, HOLD at the current phase rather than automatically moving to the next step simply because a certain number of days have passed.

IMPORTANT

This guide is provided for harm-reduction and educational purposes and is not medical advice or a medically validated withdrawal protocol.

Dependence and withdrawal from concentrated 7-OH products can be significant. Anyone experiencing severe withdrawal symptoms, taking very large quantities, repeatedly waking to dose, being unable to reduce their intake, or otherwise struggling to safely discontinue 7-OH should seek assistance from a qualified healthcare or addiction-medicine professional.

The goal isn’t perfection overnight. The goal is moving in the right direction.
